The 48th Bartholin International Ballet Seminar

In Copenhagen July 5 through July 24, 2010 takes place on
the premises of The Royal Theatre in the centre of Copenhagen City.

The seminar offers a number of specialized classes covering all main aspects of ballet education at advanced to professional levels.

The seminar offers classes in Classical Technique, point & Variations, Men's class & Variations, Pas de Deux Technique & Repertory, Modern Dance, Modern Partnering, Jazz Dance and stage Drama. Every year the seminar offers courses in the tradition of renowned Danish Ballet master August Bournonville consisting of his famous classes and reportory – this year the seminar will offer instruction in the Pas de deux from his ballet "The Kermesse in Bruges".

The seminar will not accept students under the age of 14 years.

Registration application is binding and is accepted only if accompanied by a non-refundable deposit of Danish Crowns 1000,- as part of the full payment for signed-on classes. You will be contacted in case of oversubscription. Final payment must be made no later than June 19.

2 weeks prior to opening of seminar. Tuition fees for non-attended signed-on classes will not be refunded.

In case of personal injuries the student are covered only by their own medical insurance. The Seminar is not responsible for any medical coverage or injury related expenses.
