Koreografinen keskus DanceEast Englannissa tarjoaa neljälle koreografille kahden viikon intensiivisen kurssin Tarinankerronta tanssiteoksessa. Hakemukset 1.12.2011. Kurssi on 1.–15.4.2012.
Criteria for Application:
For the first LAB, DanceEast is seeking 4 choreographers with a minimum of three years experience in making narrative work (including work for young audiences) in a range of genres (applications welcome from ballet, contemporary, south Asian, hip hop, etc…)
Applicants must submit a CV (maximum 2 pages) and DVD/web links of existing work/s (5 minutes and no other supporting material required) and a statement (maximum two sides of A4) as to why they wish to take part in the LAB at this point in their professional career; what they wish to gain from the experience of an intensive two week LAB; and their interest in developing narrative work.

This is an intensive two week residential LAB that is taking place from 1-15 April, 2012 at the Jerwood DanceHouse in Ipswich, Suffolk inclusive.
Participating choreographers do not need to prepare any specific material in advance of the LAB. Accommodation and meals provided.
The LAB will be under the Artistic Direction of Jonathan Lunn. There will also be guests from a range of disciplines and backgrounds, including film, theatre, design, music and the visual arts who will visit over the course of the two weeks for talks, meals, feedback and discussion.
12-16 dancers will be available to work with the choreographers over the 2 week period, a number of whom are from English National Ballet and the others are still to be confirmed but will be a mix of ballet and contemporary dancers of a high standard.
