FA InteatroFestival Academy is the name of the professional artistic project promoted and founded on 2006 by Inteatro, to promote the meeting between young performers and estabilished artists. The project is in memory of Professor Domenico Mancia, the founder of Inteatro.

Every year, young performers – actors, dancers, directors and choreographers – of various European nationalities have the possibility to stay for a period (8/10 weeks) in Villa Nappi, that will become a creative factory in a mixture of search, creation and production.

After a training and research period under the guidance of active directors from the international theatre and dance scene – that, in the same period, will stay in Polverigi for their creative residences – the particapants have the possibility to work on and develop their own projects. A selection of them will be presented in a “IFA window” during the International Festival Inteatro.

Inteatro will host in Villa Nappi 13 young performers for a period of training and research under the guidance of active directors from the international theatre and dance scene.

The course, “Dancer-Performer”, is intensive, and attendance is mandatory. It lasts long 600 h, from May to October 2010 (with a break in August).
