Preparatory audition for dance students Friday February 17th at Skånes Dansteater in Malmö, Sweden
Skånes Dansteater is looking for male and female dancers for the autumn 2012/spring 2013.
We are looking for experienced professional dancers with strong contemporary dance technique, good classical training, solid musicality and strong personal integrity and stage presence.
The contracts could be production based or yearly contracts.
Skånes Dansteater is a contemporary repertory company based in Malmö, Sweden. The company produces both large stage productions and smaller works. We have approximately 30 employees including 12–16 dancers depending on the size of the productions. Since 2005 we have a stage and production space in the West Harbour of Malmö. We also tour within the region, nationally and abroad.
Audition will be held on Saturday and Sunday February 18th–19th 2012 at Skånes Dansteater in Malmö (Adress: Östra Varvsgatan 13A).
Day 1 will include a classical technique class and varied repertoire.
Day 2 will be exclusive for a selected number of dancers.
A preparatory audition for final year and post-graduate dance students, as well as students applying for internships as a part of their dance education, will be held on Friday February 17th.
The selected dancers from this audition are requested to be available for further audition February 18th.
