New Artistic Director for Time of Dance Festival

Choreographer, dancer Teemu Kyytinen has been appointed Artistic Director of Time of Dance Festival.

Kyytinen has worked in Finland and abroad with many noted choreographers. He has danced among others in pieces by Jyrki Karttunen, Minna Tuovinen and Martin Heslop, Arja Raatikainen and Alpo Aaltokoski. He has been creating his own choreographies since 2003 (among others Grab 2006, Thirsty 2004, Kiss 2003). Before his dancing career Kyytinen was member of the Finnish freestyle team.

Time of Dance is Finlands biggest contemporary dance festival based in Jyväskylä. The sixth festival will take place September 22−25, 2011.
