Artists, producers and all professionals on dance sector: The international encounter Stretch in Gothenburg, August 2020, is for you. Save the date!
The Stretch encounter comes back, now with the theme 'Expanding the movement'. Last year it was a success and attracted 254 dance professionals from several countries to Turku, Finland, to share, discuss and work together. Now the event takes place in Gothenburg Sweden, in the same communal ambience, at the same time with Gothenburg Dance and Theatre Festival.
Keđja presents STRETCH 2020 – August 20–22 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
This international dance encounter means three full days of talks, discussions, workshops, morning classes, performances, and a chance to meet colleagues from the Nordic-Baltic countries, Slovenia, Scotland, and all over Europe.
The theme of the gathering is Expanding the movement. It addresses the relationship between art and society, participation, audiences, community art, dramaturgy, communication, international work and touring. We especially invite artists, producers, venues, presenters and other professionals working on the field of dance to join the conversation on how we create a more sustainable future for the field of dance.
