The unique summer edition of the Ice Hot Nordic Dance Platform takes place in a month in Helsinki. Already more than 250 presenters, curators and other professionals of the dance field have registered to the event. Hurry up, there is only a couple of days left to register!

Ice Hot Helsinki 2022 presents to you 39 carefully selected Nordic artists and companies – and the brand new Dance House Helsinki.

If you didn’t register yet, do it now, as there is a limited seat capacity and places are filling up quickly. Already more than 250 presenters, programmers and curators from all over the world have booked their tickets. And this gathering brings far over 100 Nordic dance artists to Helsinki, so you shouldn’t miss it.

In addition to the beautiful artistic programme, the event presents nine different talks and discussions around urgent topics in the performing arts field: Do you want to discuss audiences and diversity, power and responsibilities on the dance field, and greener production and distribution practices? Are you interested in pondering about how arts organisations can nurture change in societies, or understanding how to reach and engage teenagers?

Dance Info Finland is the main organiser of the platform:

“We want to make your stay at Ice Hot as easy as possible, and Helsinki is ideal for that. Major part of the programme takes place in the Cable Factory with its cafés and restaurants – immediately connected with the Dance House.”

And note that if you are unable to attend the event live, choose the free online registration. With the online pass you can follow the entire More More More pitch programme featuring 18 artists and companies, and the live streamings of talks and seminars – plus you get access to 25 full length recordings of performances in the Ice Hot Helsinki programme.
