BAD HOUSE festival celebrates the hybridity of artistic expression presented by selected international and local artists. It spreads out in the virtual and physical world between 12.-25.4.2021, followed by two pieces which will take place later on in 2021.

The festival brings forward artist-driven practices and concepts that stretch the reality. It aims for rubbing beautifulness, incomplete truthfulness, empathy and hopefulness. The work breeds from the internal need and passion for creation.

BAD HOUSE program consists of performances, a workshop, video and installation pieces, and is curated by artists Sonja Jokiniemi, Mikko Niemistö and Elina Pirinen. Check the programme here.

The festival is mainly free of charge. Pre-registration is asked for some events and works. Most of the works are accessible from wherever you are!
