Routa Company: Choo-, tilt-, occurring!
Choo-, tilt-, occurring! is taking a deeply amusing and concentratedly improvised look at what kinds of things a human person can get interested in!
The dancers (Aino Purhonen and Jasu Parviainen) sweep the audience into the world of enthusiasm and getting involved. The absurd amusement park of the performance is formed of several pink objects, abstract and invisible stuff inside people’s heads, and the owners of the afore-mentioned heads. The sweet, secret ingredient of it all is served in an ambienty-jazzy form by the live playing musician Matias Nieminen.
Choo-, tilt-, occurring! is targeted for persons of all ages, plus their parents, grandparents and grand-grandparents. In Finnish the name of the performance is Harh, varp, parhaillaan!
The performances take place in Kaukametsä open-air Amphitheatre (Kajaani, Finland). The performance lasts half an hour and includes a short, guided dance for the audience, to keep warm in the middle of it all. The limit for the temperature is -15° Celsius; if colder, the performance is cancelled.
