We are THE HUG, a platform for cultural cooperation and a non-profit cultural association dedicated to increasing the community access to visual arts, design and architecture in Madrid.

We would like to cordially invite you to a roundtable “Art scene in Madrid and THE HUG’s residency model for Finland-based artists and creative agents” on April 24th and to a get-together on April 27th.

Both the events are held at Globe Art Point, Helsinki and are organized by THE HUG with the support of the Embassy of Spain in Finland and the City Council of Madrid.

-The roundtable on Tuesday 24th of April starts at 18:00 with a short introduction and presentation of THE HUG. Then we discuss the contemporary art scene in Madrid and THE HUG’s residency project. We will close the event with an informal conversation with the participants. For more detailed information, please see the roundtable program below.

-At the get-together on Friday 27th of April, you can personally talk to us and find out more about applying for THE HUG’s residency program. We would also love to discuss any future collaboration ideas and create associative networks. Come and meet us in Globe Art Point on April 27th between 14:00 and 17:00.
