For the Compagnie Danse Louis Barreau’s new production, BBB 3+1 (provisional title), Louis Barreau is seeking 2 dancers from 23 years old to join a team of 2 dancers.

Deadline for applications: January 2017 at 12 noon, Paris time

Where: Paris or Nantes, France

When:

PARIS: Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd of February 2017 (9am-6pm) at micadanses.

NANTES: Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th of February 2017 (9am-6.30pm) at the SEPT CENT QUATRE VINGT TROIS (compagnie 29×27).

Please clearly notify in your application the order of preference for the city of audition.

This new piece is the last part of a tryptic initiated by the solo BOLERO BOLERO BOLERO pour 1 performeur (premiered on April 16 at studio le Regard du Cygne) and continued with the trio BOLERO BOLERO BOLERO pour 3 performeurs (premiered on November 16 at L’étoile du nord – scène conventionnée danse de Paris). The project will be supported in 2017 by the Paris Réseau Danse (Atelier de Paris – CDC Carolyn Carlson, L’étoile du nord – scène conventionnée danse de Paris, micadanses, studio le Regard du Cygne).

Louis Barreau is a choreographer and dancer. He graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London and passed the Master de recherche en danse at Université Paris 8. Nowadays, he is focusing on the question of choreographic composition and mixes in his theoretical and practical reflexions. Precision, repetition and variation of movement in its musicality and relationship to body, space and other people are at the very heart of his current investigations.

Both French and English applications are accepted.
