Dancing Images – Screendance Workshop France 16.-19.11.2018
Chase away the sad November weather by creating dance films in France! Participants will have the opportunity to work individually and collaboratively in a supportive environment surrounded by motivated artists.
This workshop will present various approaches to creating choreography for the screen, in addition to camera work (involving camera in the choreography), editing basics and professional resources to assist artists in finding financial and screening opportunities for their work.
The workshop is an excellent starting point for artists from all dance and artistic backgrounds who are new to screendance (no experience necessary), but it is also open to those who have already created dance and movement videos, and wish to deepen their relationship to the practice by experimenting with new approaches and exchanging with other artists.
