JoJo – Oulun Tanssin Keskus/ William Petit: Ma and Pa goes Party etsii esiintyjiä!

The Fabrik Nomade co-authors of the MA AN PA GO PARTY – NOMAD KABARET 2018, Carlos Molina Llorens, visual artist and William Petit, choreographer and performer, are searching for one or two additional artists for the new creation, which take part in the JoJo – Oulu Dance Centre program autumn 2018.

The artists can be dancers, actors or circus artists, who are deeply invested in movement research and ready for deep physicality and strong emotional involvement. Performer(s) engaged into the process will share the proposition with two jugglers/dancers (Fabrik Nomade), Pirjo Yli-Maunula and William Petit – guest artists performers, Carlos Molina Llorens (Fabrik Nomade) light designer/performer, a group of amateur dancers from Oulu community and Miqueu Montanaro (Fabrik Nomade) music composer. This specific dance piece is structured with dance, acting, direct and physical interaction with the audience, voice implication (world, singing, sounds,…), joyful spirit and sense of humour.

The rehearsals and performances will take place in Oulu from 29.10.2018 until 24.11.2018.

There will be an open audition/meeting held by William Petit in the shape of a sharing of the creation material and methods.

The audition/meeting will take place in Oulu over two days on 03.-04.09.2018.

Audition/meeting timetable:

03.09.2018 – Valve – Studio 2 – at 11:15-14:15 and Studio 1 – at 14:45-16:45
04.09.2018 – Valve – Studio 3 – at 12:00-14:00 and 14:30-17:00
