Open call: application for Luleå dansresidens 2019
Luleå kommun and Dansinitiativet are now opening the application for Luleå dansresidens 2019.
During the fall 2019 Dansinitiativet will house two residences in their new venue in Luleå. The residence offers access to the stage, accommodation in an aparment in the city center, technical suppot, some access to car and a financial suppot. Applicants must be professionally active in movement-based peforming arts and can be in the beginning, the middle of or at the end of their process.
-Residence 1: 7-20 October

Accomodation in apartment in the city center for 2-5- people
Production support: SEK 50,000 on invoice (incl. per diem and travel costs administred by the resident holder)
-Residence 2: 25 November-15 December

Production support: SEK 70,000 on invoice (incl. per diem and travel costs administred by the resident holder)
During the residency, we want the resident holder to lead daily training for dancers at least once, and have an open showing of the process / peformance. If you are in the final stage of your process and premiere is of interest/ a possibility, please state this in your application.

Dansinitiativet is an independent dance company that works with movement-based peforming arts with Luleå and Norrbotten as a base. Our aim is to work with movement-based performing arts within the local and regional context. Our method is to create dance and circus at of high quality and clear topicality for all ages with a desire to include the population.
