Open call: Greensboro Dance Film Festival
Greensboro Dance Film Festival is in its fifth year and features dance films from around the world in both student and professional categories. This year the festival is particularly interested in films that address themes that explore notions of race, place and identity created through the prism of film. Artists in all disciplines of screen dance are encouraged to apply.

This year the festival will be presented in multiple venues which include a live opening performance and party and a collaboration with the Greensboro Performance Space. All events presented against the backdrop of historic downtown Greensboro and the University of North Carolina Greensboro campus. This year’s festival will culminate with a tour of adjudicated works around the country. Touring selections will also participate in the 4th annual In/Out Dance Festival in Burkina Faso, West Africa. This event is free and open to the public.
