29.5.2018

Come join the Nordic Culture Camp!

Kulturmødet is a political, cultural and arts festival taking place on the island of Mors in Denmark on 23rd-25th August 2018, where more than 20.000 people have the opportunity to experience and be involved in hundreds of debates, cultural events, happenings and activities.

Are you a young artist? And would you like to take part in Kulturmødet and a free international camp in Denmark together with other young people from Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Greenland, Finland, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and United Kingdom?

Then send us your application at the latest by June 4th, 2018.

When?
August 19th-26th, 2018

Where?
Nykøbing Mors, Denmark.

Who?
You must be between 18-25 years old. In addition, you must be a performing / creating artist – or on your way to becoming one. It will be an advantage if you take active part in your local cultural life or in a creative, artistic environment, which can benefit from your participation in the project. You may be interested in cultural politics or in the development of the local conditions for young artists in your area.

What?
During the week you will be part of a collaborative art project based on your different artistic skills and the theme: ”Building Bridges”. You will be working with bendable steel rebars and shrinkable plastic. You may create a sculpture, a pavilion, or other kinds of visual expressions. It may be seen as a piece of art on its own. Or it may be used as a creative framework for other types of artistic expressions. You may choose to use it as a stage for performances, video, dancing, music, visual art or similar things. There will be an open, common, creative process where all kinds of input is welcome.

You can find more information and an application form in the attached files and on North Denmark Region’s website: http://www.rn.dk/nordicculturecamp.
